This rare vintage Japanese hiradaka (平卓) display stand dates to the 1960s and was sourced directly from a Japanese Government Auction. Crafted using traditional Japanese lacquer techniques, the surface is finished in a rich red-brown tone and beautifully decorated with raden (螺鈿) mother-of-pearl inlay, which subtly shimmers as it catches the light.

Traditionally used as a kadai (花台), this flat display table was designed to elevate and honor important objects such as bonsai, ikebana arrangements, suiseki stones, or treasured ornaments.
