Japanese Bronze Rin Bell Set Temple Bell Vintage Meditation Tool
Japanese Bronze Rin Bell Set Temple Bell Vintage Meditation Tool
Authentic Vintage Japanese Bronze Rin Bell Set (1970s)
Bring the peaceful spirit of Japan into your home with this authentic Japanese Buddhist Rin Bell (鈴), handcrafted during the 1970s. This complete vintage set includes the solid bronze singing bowl bell and its original wooden striker, exactly as shown in the photographs.
Unlike modern reproductions, this beautiful Rin Bell was purchased directly from the daughter of the original owner, whose father acquired it new in Japan during the 1970s. It has remained carefully preserved within the same family for decades before becoming part of our collection.
Traditionally found in Buddhist temples, Zen meditation rooms, and home altars, Rin Bells are struck gently to produce a rich, clear tone that resonates long after the strike. The sound is used to begin and end meditation, accompany Buddhist chanting, purify a space, and create an atmosphere of tranquility.
Handcrafted from solid bronze, the bell displays a beautiful hand-hammered finish with a naturally aged patina that reflects its authentic vintage character. Its warm resonance and elegant simplicity make it equally suitable as a meditation instrument, collectible, or decorative display piece.
This exceptional set was sourced directly from Japan and represents both Japanese craftsmanship and Buddhist tradition.
