Sourced directly from a Japanese government antique auction, this set carries strong provenance and historical authenticity.

The orin is signed “妙龍” (Myōryū) and was created using traditional metalworking techniques. Thin bronze sheets were carefully hammered into form and tuned entirely by ear by a master artisan—often referred to as an “orin tuner.” This meticulous process produces a deep, long, and beautifully resonant tone, highly valued in Zen meditation and Buddhist practice.
